Description

These tortilla rolls are a real eye-catcher at any party! The combination of savory cream cheese, peppery arugula and tender ham is simply unbeatable. I always like to make them because they are so quick to prepare and you can prepare them really well. They taste best when they have been refrigerated overnight. If you like it a little more unusual, you can also vary the filling with salmon and cucumber. A great snack for any occasion!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 265 g Double cream cheese
  • 10 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 etwas Milk
  • 1 etwas Salt
  • 1 etwas Pepper
  • 1 etwas Curry powder
  • 8 piece large Wheat tortilla(s)
  • 1 n. B. Water
  • 125 g Arugula
  • 2 Pkt. Parma ham

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion

Peel and quarter the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Then chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Prepare cream cheese cream

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add the chopped onion, cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce to the mixing bowl. Season with salt, pepper and curry powder and mix for 20 sec./level 3. If necessary, add a splash of milk and mix for another 5 sec./level 3 until the desired consistency is reached.

Complete filling (optional)

If the cream is too thick, add a splash of milk and mix for 5 sec./level 3.

Top tortillas

Lightly brush the wheat tortillas with water. Then spread approx. 1 - 2 tbsp of the cream cheese cream on top. Spread one half of the tortillas very thinly. Spread a handful of arugula on the thicker spread side of the tortillas and place 1 - 2 slices of ham on top.

Roll and chill wraps

Roll the wraps with a little pressure. Roll the rolled wraps tightly in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

Serve wraps

To serve, remove the wraps from the foil and cut diagonally into approx. 1 - 1.5 cm wide slices.
