Description

These sweet Laddus are a delicious snack or a sweet dessert. They are prepared with chickpea flour, butter, sugar, and spices. The preparation takes about 60 minutes and the recipe is designed for several servings. Ideal for festive occasions or as a sweet treat in between.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chickpea flour
  • 180 g Ghee
  • 120 g Icing sugar from brown sugar
  • 2 TL Cinnamon
  • 2 TL Cardamom
  • 80 g Coconut flakes
  • 100 g Almonds, ground

Preparation (7 steps)

Roast chickpeas

Roast 400 g of chickpeas in the oven at 120°C for about 20 minutes. Alternatively, roast in a pan for 1 minute/speed 10.

Roast coconut flakes

Lightly toast 80 g of coconut flakes in a pan and set aside.

Melt butter

Put 180 g of ghee in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Roast chickpea flour

15 min/194°F/Speed 2 194°F

Add 400 g of roasted chickpea flour and lightly roast for 15 - 20 min./90°C/speed 2, stirring constantly with the spatula.

Add ingredients

Add 120 g of icing sugar, 2 tsp of cinnamon and 2 tsp of cardamom and mix for 1 min./speed 3.

Mix in coconut flakes

Add 80 g of roasted coconut flakes and fold in with the spatula.

Cool and shape

Let the mixture cool and then cut into diamonds with a knife or form into balls and roll in coconut flakes or sesame or nuts.
