Description

This Brussels sprout pan with sausage and gnocchi is a quick and easy dish that tastes particularly good in autumn. The slightly bitter Brussels sprouts harmonize wonderfully with the hearty sausage and the soft gnocchi. The almond slivers provide an additional crunch. I like to make this pan when I need to be quick and still want something warm and hearty on the table. The cream makes the dish nice and creamy and the starch ensures the perfect binding. An absolute feel-good dish!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g fresh Brussels sprouts
  • 500 g brown mushrooms
  • 2 piece Shallots
  • 4 piece Poultry sausages (à 80-100 g)
  • 50 g Almond slivers
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 800 g Gnocchi
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 400 ml Whipping cream
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare Brussels sprouts, mushrooms and shallots

Clean the Brussels sprouts, cut a thin slice off the stalk and remove the outer leaves. Halve or quarter the Brussels sprouts depending on their size. Clean the mushrooms, cut a thin slice off the stem bases and halve or quarter the mushrooms depending on their size. Finely dice the shallots. Cut the sausages diagonally into slices.

Chop shallots

Put the diced shallots into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté shallots

Add 2 tbsp rapeseed oil to the shallots in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add Brussels sprouts and mushrooms

5 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Add the prepared Brussels sprouts and mushrooms to the mixing bowl and steam for 5 min./120°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Add sausage and gnocchi

Thermomix® Setting
4 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the sausage slices and gnocchi to the mixing bowl and simmer for 4 min./100°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Add cream and starch

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add 400 ml whipping cream, salt, pepper and 2 tsp cornstarch to the mixing bowl and cook for 3 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 1 until the sauce has thickened slightly.
