Description

This Christmas mandarin tiramisu is a festive dessert with ladyfingers, mandarins, mascarpone and Amaretto, prepared in the Thermomix®. Preparation takes about 45 minutes, chilling time is 240 minutes. The recipe yields 6 servings. Ideal as a dessert for a Christmas family meal or festive occasions.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 5 Stück Mandarins
  • 4 EL Amaretto
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 2 EL Almond slivers
  • 1 EL Cocoa powder

Preparation (16 steps)

Prepare ladyfingers

Place the ladyfingers in a baking dish (approx. 20x30 cm).

Prepare mandarin juice

Put the juice of the mandarins in the mixing bowl.

Heat mandarin juice

Heat the mandarin juice for 3 min./50°C/speed 1.

Add Amaretto

Add the Amaretto to the warm mandarin juice in the mixing bowl and stir for 5 sec./speed 2.

Soak ladyfingers

Drizzle the ladyfingers with the mandarin juice-Amaretto mixture.

Separate eggs

Separate the eggs. Place egg yolks and sugar in the mixing bowl.

Beat egg yolks and sugar

Beat egg yolks and sugar for 3 min./speed 3 until a light, foamy mixture forms.

Stir in mascarpone

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add the mascarpone to the egg yolk-sugar mixture in the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Beat egg whites until stiff

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt in a separate bowl with a hand mixer until stiff.

Fold in beaten egg whites

Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the mascarpone cream.

Spread cream

Spread half of the mascarpone cream on the soaked ladyfingers.

Spread mandarins

Spread half of the mandarin segments on the cream.

Second layer

Spread the remaining mascarpone cream on top and top with the remaining mandarin segments.

Cool tiramisu

Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

Chop almonds

Put the almonds in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sprinkle with almond slivers and cocoa powder before serving.
