Description

This dish of turkey slices with curry is a real treat, flavored with fresh mint. The yogurt and spice marinade gives the meat incredible tenderness. I often prepare this dish for a quick and tasty dinner. It is perfect accompanied by basmati rice or grilled vegetables. The touch of mint brings a freshness that perfectly balances the spicy flavors of the curry. A real treat for the taste buds, and so simple to make with the Thermomix®! Feel free to adjust the amount of curry to your liking for a spicier dish.

  • 4 piece Turkey scallop(s)
  • 2 container Liquid cream
  • 1 c. à soupe Olive oil
  • 1 branche Mint
  • 3 c. à soupe Curry
  • 1 piece Tomato(es)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

In the bowl of the Thermomix, pour 2 pots of plain yogurt, 1 tbsp of olive oil and 3 tbsp of curry. Mix 20 Sek./Stufe 3 to obtain a homogeneous yellow color.

Adding the tomato and Ricard (optional)

10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Cut 1 tomato into small dice and add it to the bowl of the Thermomix. Also add 1/2 tsp of Ricard (optional). Mix gently 10 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 2 to incorporate the ingredients without crushing them.

Turkey marinade

30 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Cut 4 turkey scallops into small strips. Salt and pepper the turkey strips. Add the turkey strips to the Thermomix bowl and mix 30 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 2 to coat the meat well with the marinade.

Rest time

Transfer the preparation to a container and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours.

Cooking the turkey

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated turkey slices and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly, until cooked through.

Presentation

Once cooked, pour the turkey slices into a serving dish. Sprinkle with chopped fresh mint leaves before serving.
