Description

This hearty Túrós puliszka casserole with cornmeal, curd and sour cream is a Hungarian main course that is quick to prepare. The Thermomix® recipe is vegetarian, inexpensive and ready in just 30 minutes. The portions are designed for 4 people. Ideal for quick, uncomplicated cuisine.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 300 g Cornmeal
  • 150 g Coarse curd (from cow, or sheep)
  • 200 g 20% Sour cream
  • 1 großer Löffel Salt

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare water

Add 1 liter of water to the mixing bowl. If the curd is not salty enough, add 1 large spoon of salt.

Boil water and add cornmeal

Bring the water to a boil: 10 Min./100°C/level 1. When the water boils, reduce the heat and stir in 300 g of cornmeal in a steady stream. Continue stirring slowly to the left during this. Stir until there is no more water on the surface.

Cook cornmeal

Cook the cornmeal for 20 Min./90°C/level 2, stirring constantly, until the grains are soft. Do a cooking test. The cornmeal should no longer crunch between your teeth, but should be soft. It should still be "liquid".

Prepare casserole dish

Lightly oil or butter a glass dish.

Layers

Put a layer of puliszka in the mold, then crumble 150 g of Túró over it. Put another layer of puliszka on top. If the puliszka is no longer so liquid, it is best to put it in the middle so that it does not "absorb" the Túró. Smooth with a spoon.

Bake

When all the ingredients have been used, bake in the oven until the surface is golden brown. Baking time and temperature depend on the oven.

Serve

When serving, pour 200 g of 20% sour cream over it.
