Description

These chicken wraps are a delicious and quick option for any meal. The combination of tender chicken with fresh vegetables and a creamy sauce makes them an irresistible dish. I often prepare them for a light dinner or a quick lunch, and they are always a success! The recipe is very versatile, you can add or substitute ingredients according to your preferences. For example, you can use different types of lettuce or add avocado for an extra touch of creaminess. Go ahead and try them, you will love them!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 0.5 piece Chicken breast
  • 0.5 piece Red onion
  • 40 g Cabbage
  • 0.5 piece Green pepper
  • 0.5 piece Tomato
  • 0.5 piece Fresh mozzarella
  • 2 piece Wheat tortillas
  • 20 g Mayonnaise
  • 5 g Dijon mustard

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the red onion

Thermomix® Setting

Place half a red onion in the glass and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5. Remove and reserve.

Preparation of the green pepper

Thermomix® Setting

Place half a green pepper in the glass and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5. Remove and reserve.

Preparation of the cabbage

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 4

Place 40 g of cabbage in the glass and chop for 3 seconds at speed 4. Remove and reserve.

Preparation of the sauce

Place 20 g of mayonnaise and 5 g of Dijon mustard in a bowl and mix well. Reserve.

Preparation of the chicken

Cut 0.5 chicken breast into strips one centimeter thick. Place the strips in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, black pepper, ground onion and dried oregano. Stir well. Heat a pan and sauté the chicken strips for a few minutes until they are well cooked inside and golden brown on the outside. Remove and reserve.

Heat the tortillas

In the same pan, heat the wheat tortillas on both sides. You just have to give them a little heat.

Assembly of the wraps

Spread a thin layer of sauce on the base of each tortilla and distribute the vegetables (red onion, green pepper, cabbage, sliced tomato and fresh mozzarella) and the chicken between them. Roll up well (we can close one of the ends so that the filling does not come out) and serve immediately.
