Description

This dish of chicken thighs in onion sauce with white wine is a traditional Spanish recipe that comforts the soul. The onion caramelized in white wine creates a delicious and smooth sauce that perfectly complements the tender and juicy chicken.   • chicken thighs
  • 2 piece onions
  • white wine
  • oil
  • 1 hoja bay leaf
  • to taste salt
  • 2 piece cloves
  • 100 ml water

Preparation (6 steps)

Brown the chicken thighs

In a pan with a little oil, brown the chicken thighs on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Chop the onion

Peel and quarter the onions. Place in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 sec./Stufe 5.

Sauté the onion

Add a little oil to the Thermomix bowl and sauté the onion for 8 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Crush part of the onion

Remove approximately a quarter of the sautéed onion and set aside. Crush the rest of the onion in the Thermomix for 15 Sek./Stufe 7.

Add the rest of the onion and cook

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Incorporate the reserved onion into the Thermomix bowl. Add 100 ml of water, 150 ml of white wine, the bay leaf, cloves and salt to taste. Program 25 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Incorporate the chicken and cook

20 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the browned chicken thighs to the Thermomix bowl. Program 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
