Description

Chicken bites with paprika are a timeless classic, perfect for a quick and tasty dinner. This recipe, made with the Thermomix®, enhances the flavors and simplifies the preparation. The chicken, cut into cubes and wrapped in a creamy paprika sauce, becomes tender and flavorful. I often prepare them when I have little time but don't want to give up a dish full of flavor. Serve with boiled potatoes or basmati rice for a complete and satisfying meal. A delicious idea is to add a pinch of chilli pepper for a spicy touch!

  • Paprika
  • Flour
  • Cream
  • Shallot
  • Spring onions
  • Butter
  • Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)
  • Salt

Chopped shallot and spring onions

Insert the shallot into the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Level 5. Transfer to a bowl and set aside. Insert the spring onions into the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Level 5. Transfer to the bowl with the shallot and set aside.

Brown shallot and spring onions

Thermomix® Setting

Pour the butter and extra virgin olive oil into the bowl and brown for 3 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and pass them in the flour mixed with a tablespoon of paprika. Set aside.

Cook the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 120 Reverse

Add the chicken bites to the bowl and cook for 5 Min./120°C/Level 1/Left rotation. Add salt to taste.

Add the cream and paprika

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the cream and the last tablespoon of paprika to the bowl and cook for 5 Min./90°C/Level 1/Left rotation, or until the cream has thickened. Add salt to taste.

Serve

Serve the chicken breast with paprika, accompanying it as desired with boiled potatoes, bread dumplings or even with rice.
