Description

This pasta recipe with broccoli and ham is a comforting and simple dish, perfect for a quick weekday meal. The combination of tender broccoli with the salty flavor of ham and the creaminess of the cheese makes this dish a delight. I usually use wholemeal pasta to give it a healthier touch and a more intense flavor. It is prepared in a short time and is ideal for those days when you don't have much time to cook. In addition, it is an excellent way to incorporate vegetables into the diet of the little ones. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 160 g pasta
  • 1 piece broccoli
  • 50 g diced ham
  • powdered or string cheese

Pasta cooking

Thermomix® Setting

Fill the glass with 1000 ml of water. Program 10 Min./100°C/Level 1. Add 160 g of pasta through the lid and program the time indicated on the pasta package/100°C/Reverse Rotation Level 1. Once cooked, drain the pasta with the basket and set aside.

Broccoli preparation

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Cut 1 broccoli head into small florets. Place 500 ml of water in the glass. Place the broccoli in the Varoma. Program 15 Min./Varoma/Level 1. Reserve the steamed broccoli.

Mixing ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix the cooked pasta with the steamed broccoli and 50 g of diced ham. Stir well to integrate all the ingredients.

Gratin (optional)

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Pour the mixture of pasta, broccoli and ham into an oven-safe tray. Sprinkle powdered or string cheese to taste on top. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

Serve

Serve the pasta with broccoli and hot ham. Enjoy!
