Description
This fresh leaf lettuce in Serbian style is an absolute must for every lover of Mediterranean cuisine! I especially like to make it in the summer, when the lettuce is crisp and fresh from the market. The combination of the tender lettuce, the spicy onions and the simple dressing is simply unbeatable. It goes perfectly with grilled food, fish or simply as a light side dish. The preparation is very simple and quick, making it ideal for spontaneous barbecues. A true classic that is always well received!
Ingredients (5 ingredients)

1 piece Lettuce

1 piece Onion(s)

2 tbsp Vinegar
-
2 tbsp Oil
-
1 tsp Salt
Preparation (4 steps)
Chop Onion
Peel, quarter the onion and put it in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./level 5.
Prepare Dressing
Add vinegar, oil and salt to the chopped onions in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./level 3.
Prepare Salad
Wash the lettuce, spin it dry and pluck it into bite-sized pieces. Put in a large bowl.
Mix Salad and Dressing
Pour the dressing from the mixing bowl over the salad in the bowl and mix carefully. Serve immediately.
