Description

This hearty ground meat and cheese casserole is a savory main course that is ideal for the whole family. With mixed ground meat, Emmentaler, and feta cheese, it is rich in protein and filling. Preparation takes about 80 minutes and yields 4 servings. Thanks to the easy preparation, it is perfect for everyday use.

  • 500 g Ground meat, mixed
  • 1 Stück Bell pepper(s), red
  • 250 g Cheese (Emmentaler), grated
  • 1 Stück Medium-sized onion(s)
  • 0.5 Paket Feta cheese (cow's milk), cubed
  • 1 TL Vegetable broth, granulated
  • 1 TL Mustard, medium-hot
  • 1 Stück Garlic clove(s)
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 0.5 TL Paprika powder, sweet

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F) top/bottom heat (convection 155°C (311°F)).

Chop onion

Place 1 peeled large onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Prepare bell pepper

Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid. Halve a red bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut it into the mixing bowl with the fine slicing disc. Set the sliced bell pepper aside.

Prepare ground meat

Brown 500 g mixed ground meat in a separate pan until crumbly.

Prepare ground meat mixture

Place the browned ground meat together with the chopped onion, sliced bell pepper, 250 g grated Emmentaler cheese, 1/2 package of cubed feta cheese, 1 tsp granulated vegetable broth, 1 tsp medium-hot mustard, 1 pressed garlic clove, 200 g sour cream, and 1/2 tsp sweet paprika powder in the mixing bowl. Mix for 30 sec/Reverse/speed 3.

Bake casserole

Pour the ground meat mixture into a casserole dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
