Description

This high-protein main course delivers juicy pulled chicken from the Thermomix®. Chicken breast fillet, mustard and sweet paprika powder provide the spicy taste. In just 50 minutes of preparation time, 4 servings are created, ideal for barbecues or parties. The recipe is particularly suitable for anyone looking for an uncomplicated and protein-rich meal.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 800 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 2 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 250 ml Barbecue sauce
  • 100 ml Apple juice

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare marinade

Add 2 tbsp sunflower oil, 1 tbsp mustard, 2 tsp sweet paprika powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika powder, 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tsp salt to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Marinate chicken

Put 800 g of chicken breast fillet in a bowl and mix with the marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Fry chicken

Fry the marinated chicken in a pan with a little oil until golden brown on all sides.

Prepare sauce

Add 250 ml barbecue sauce and 100 ml apple juice to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Cook chicken in the oven

Place the fried chicken in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for 20 minutes.

Shred chicken

Remove the chicken from the oven and shred with two forks.

Finish pulled chicken

Put the shredded chicken back into the baking dish, mix with the sauce and cook for another 10 minutes in the oven.
