Description

This Thermomix® recipe for pears with Gorgonzola-walnut filling is a sophisticated dessert with pears, Gorgonzola and walnuts. Preparation takes about 30 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a vegetarian appetizer or warm dessert for festive occasions in autumn and winter. Thanks to the simple preparation in the Thermomix®, the recipe is guaranteed to succeed.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Pears (e.g. Abate Fetel variety)
  • 50 g Walnuts
  • 1 TL Thyme
  • 200 g Gorgonzola
  • 1.5 EL Honey
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • 1 Stück Vanilla bean

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop the walnuts

Place 50 g walnuts in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Prepare the Gorgonzola filling

20 sec/Speed 3

Cut 200 g Gorgonzola into cubes and place in the mixing bowl together with 1 tsp thyme, 1.5 tbsp honey, a little pepper, a squeeze of lemon juice and half the marrow of a vanilla bean (scrape out the bean beforehand). Stir for 20 sec/speed 3.

Add chopped walnuts

Add the chopped walnuts from step 1 to the Gorgonzola mixture in the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec/reverse speed 2. Use the spatula to scrape down from the edge.

Prepare the pears

Wash 4 pears, dry them, halve them and carefully remove the core with a small spoon. Score the remaining flesh several times and place cut side up on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Fill the pears

Spread the Gorgonzola-walnut mixture evenly over the pear halves.

Gratin the pears

Set the oven to the grill function and bake the pears at 180 °C for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts.
