Description

This chicken in sherry is a simple dish, yet full of flavour, perfect for a family dinner or with friends. The recipe, inspired by the Spanish tradition, includes tender and juicy chicken, flavoured with sherry and enriched by the sautéed onion and garlic. I often prepare it when I have little time but still want to bring something tasty and satisfying to the table. Served with chips, it is a real comfort food! The preparation is really quick and the result is always a success. A tip? Use a good sherry to best enhance the flavour of the dish.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken cut into 4 or 8 pieces
  • 1 filo olive oil
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 clove whole garlic
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 bicchiere sherry
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch peppercorns
  • 1 pochino water
  • 1 pack chips

Preparation of the sauté

One onion cut into pieces, some whole garlic cloves and a bunch of parsley in the bowl. Chop for 3 Sec./Speed 5.

Sauté the sauté

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add a drizzle of olive oil to the bowl and sauté the sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Brown the chicken

Remove the sauté from the bowl and set aside. In a pan, brown the chicken pieces in a little oil until golden.

Complete cooking in the Thermomix

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Transfer the browned chicken to the bowl. Add the sherry, the sautéed onion and garlic, salt, a few peppercorns and a little water. Cook for 25 Min./100°C/Speed 1.
