Description

This tuna sandwich with egg is a delicious and quick option for a light lunch or an informal dinner. The combination of juicy tuna, creamy egg, and the crunchy touch of the spring onion makes it an irresistible bite. I often prepare it for a weekend brunch or as a snack after work. It is very easy to adapt to your tastes, you can add a little chopped red pepper to give it an extra touch of flavor or change the lettuce for fresh spinach. Go ahead and try it, you will love it!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 slice Wholemeal sliced bread with seeds
  • 1 piece Hard-boiled egg
  • 1 piece Spring onion
  • 1 can Tuna in oil
  • 1 bote Stuffed olives
  • 3 hojas Lettuce
  • 1 bote Mayonnaise

Preparation (7 steps)

Cook the egg

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Place 1 unit of egg in the glass and add water to cover it. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Cool and peel the egg

Once the egg is cooked, remove it from the glass and place it in cold water to stop the cooking. Peel the egg and reserve.

Prepare the ingredients

Cut 1 unit of spring onion into thin slices. Drain the oil from 1 can of tuna in oil. Cut 1 unit of hard-boiled egg into slices. Cut the stuffed olives in half.

Spread the bread

Spread one side of 2 slices of wholemeal sliced bread with seeds with mayonnaise to taste.

Assemble the sandwich

Place the slices of hard-boiled egg on one of the slices of bread spread with mayonnaise. Add the drained tuna, the stuffed olives cut in half and the spring onion slices.

Add mayonnaise and lettuce

Add a couple more tablespoons of mayonnaise on top of the tuna and place 3 washed lettuce leaves on top.

Cover the sandwich

Cover the sandwich with the other slice of bread spread with mayonnaise. We will squeeze it a little so that it sticks to the mayonnaise and does not move.
