Description

This creamy white sauce is a perfect accompaniment to white fish such as sea bream or tilapia. The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare with the Thermomix®. The garlic gives it a delicious touch of flavor, while the lemon juice provides freshness and balance. I prepare it often for my fish dinners, and it is always a success! It can be served hot or warm, according to taste. In addition, it is a gluten-free option, which makes it suitable for people with intolerance. Try it also with steamed or grilled vegetables, you will love it!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 ml Milk cream
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 30 ml Olive oil
  • 20 gramos Butter
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 1 cucharada postre Cornstarch
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and place them in the Thermomix glass. Chop for 3 seconds at speed 7.

Sauté the garlic

Add the olive oil and butter to the Thermomix glass. Sauté the garlic for 3 minutes at 120°C and speed 1.

Mix the cornstarch with the cream

In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with the milk cream until there are no lumps. Set aside.

Cook the sauce

10 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Pour the mixture of milk cream and cornstarch into the Thermomix glass. Cook for 10 minutes at 90°C and speed 2. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix for 10 seconds at speed 3.

Mix and serve

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary. Mix for 5 seconds at speed 3 to integrate all the ingredients. Serve hot over the fish.
