Description

This dish of creamy spaghetti with vegetables is a delicious and nutritious option for any day of the week. I have been preparing this recipe for years and it is always a success at home. The combination of carrot, courgette and broccoli, together with the creaminess of the cream, creates a balanced and comforting flavour. It is ideal for a quick meal during the week or to surprise your guests with a vegetarian dish full of flavour. Also, it can be easily adapted to your tastes, adding other vegetables or spices. Go ahead and try it!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 3 piece Carrot
  • 2 piece Long pumpkin or Courgette
  • 1 piece Broccoli
  • 1 pack Spaghetti
  • 1 bote Half cream
  • 1 pinch Salt

Cooking the spaghetti

Thermomix® Setting
12 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Fill the glass with 1500 ml of water. Add a pinch of salt. Program 12 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Once the water is boiling, add 1 package of spaghetti through the spout and program the time indicated on the package so that they are al dente/100°C/Stufe 1.

Preparation of the vegetables

While the spaghetti is cooking, wash and cut 3 carrots into thin sticks, 2 courgettes into thin sticks and 1 broccoli into small pieces.

Steaming the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Once the spaghetti is cooked, remove the water from the glass. Add 500 ml of water to the glass. Place the Varoma container on the glass and place the prepared vegetables in the Varoma. Program 15 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Mixing and final cooking

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Remove the Varoma. Drain the cooked spaghetti and pour them into the glass along with the steamed vegetables. Add 1 can of half cream and 1 pinch of salt. Program 5 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Use the spatula to help mix.

Serve

Serve the pasta with vegetables and hot cream. Optionally, decorate with some grated cheese on top.
