Description

These chicken strips with creamy mushrooms are a simple and tasty dish, perfect for a quick but flavorful dinner. The creaminess of the sauce, obtained by blending part of the sautéed mushrooms with a little milk, envelops the chicken, making it tender and succulent. I love preparing it especially in autumn, when the mushrooms are fresh and fragrant. It is prepared in less than half an hour and is also ideal for those following a gluten-free diet. A true comfort food!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken breast
  • 300 g Mushrooms
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 rametto Thyme
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation of the mushrooms

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly. If using button mushrooms, slice them. Oyster mushrooms can be left whole. Set aside.

Garlic and thyme in the Mixtopf

Insert a clove of garlic into the Mixtopf and chop: 3 Sec./Stufe 7.

Sauté garlic and thyme

Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprig of thyme to the Mixtopf. Sauté: 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cook the mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting

Add the previously prepared mushrooms to the Mixtopf, a pinch of pepper and a pinch of salt. Cook: 7 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Brown the chicken in a pan

Cut the chicken breast into strips. In a pan, heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with a clove of garlic. Brown the chicken strips, add salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Prepare the mushroom cream

Transfer half of the sautéed mushrooms to the Mixtopf. Add 100 ml of milk. Blend: 20 Sec./Stufe 8.

Mix chicken and mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the browned chicken strips and the remaining sautéed mushrooms to the Mixtopf with the mushroom cream. Cook: 1 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
