Description

This dish is a real splash of color on the plate! Succulent lamb strips meet crunchy bell pepper vegetables, refined with fresh herbs and a light chili note. The creamy yoghurt provides a pleasant freshness. I like to make this dish when I need something quick, but still want something special on the table. It's ideal for a light lunch or a quick dinner. The preparation is straightforward and the result is simply delicious! If you don't like it so spicy, you can of course reduce or omit the chili sauce.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Bell peppers
  • 1 bunch Spring onions
  • 200 g Saddle of lamb
  • 1 Stiel Sage
  • 2 Stiele Flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 Stiel Rosemary
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 150 ml Chili sauce
  • 300 g Low-fat yoghurt

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare peppers and spring onions

Clean and wash the bell peppers and spring onions, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

Prepare lamb

Wash the saddle of lamb, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Set aside.

Prepare herbs

Wash the sage, parsley and rosemary. Pluck the leaves and needles from the stems and chop coarsely. Set aside.

Chop garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Peel 2 garlic cloves and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./level 7.

Sauté garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 2 tbsp sesame oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry meat (NOT IN THERMOMIX!)

Heat a wok or large pan. Fry the lamb in it over high heat for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, push aside.

Sauté vegetables

Add 2 tbsp olive oil to the wok or pan. Fry the prepared vegetables in it over high heat for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and the chopped herbs.

Finish

Stir the fried meat and 150 ml chili sauce into the vegetables. Heat everything well and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
