Description

This hearty Spätzle-Mushroom-Casserole from the Thermomix® is a quick main course with fresh Spätzle, mushrooms and red onions. Cooked ham adds a savory note. Prepared in 45 minutes, the recipe yields 4 servings. Ideal for lovers of warm, vegetarian cuisine and a filling family meal.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g fresh Spätzle
  • 400 g Mushrooms
  • 1 Stück red Onion
  • 100 g cooked Ham
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 2 EL chopped Parsley
  • 200 g Cream
  • 1 TL Vegetable broth powder
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 150 g grated Cheese

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onion

Put one red onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sauté onions

Add 2 tbsp butter to the chopped onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Prepare mushrooms and ham

While the onions are sautéing, halve or quarter 400 g of mushrooms depending on their size and cut 100 g of cooked ham into small pieces.

Add mushrooms and ham

Add the prepared mushrooms and ham to the onions in the mixing bowl. Fry for 5 min./120°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Season and add parsley

10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add 1 tsp vegetable broth powder, salt and pepper to taste, and 2 tbsp chopped parsley to the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec./reverse rotation level 2.

Prepare casserole

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat. Put 500 g fresh Spätzle and the mushroom-ham mixture from the mixing bowl into a casserole dish.

Add cream

Add 200 g cream to the mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec./level 3. Then pour over the Spätzle in the casserole dish.

Add cheese and bake

Spread 150 g of grated cheese (e.g. Emmentaler) on top of the casserole and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 25 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
