Description

This dish is a real classic of Italian cuisine! Tender chicken pieces, braised in a creamy milk sauce, refined with a hint of white wine and tomato concentrate. I like to make it again and again because it is so easy to prepare and yet tastes incredibly delicious. Perfect for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner with the family. Preparing it with the Thermomix® makes it even easier and faster. An absolute must for all lovers of Italian cuisine!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 600 g Chicken breast
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 100 ml White wine
  • 0.5 piece Onion
  • 1 tsp Tomato concentrate
  • 20 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare chicken

Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and remove any fat and bones. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and mix.

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting

Place half an onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 20 g butter to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry chicken

Place the chicken pieces in a pan and fry over medium heat until lightly browned.

Deglaze chicken

Add 100 ml white wine to the chicken pieces in the pan and simmer over high heat until the alcohol has evaporated.

Add milk and tomato concentrate

Add 250 ml milk and 1 teaspoon tomato concentrate to the pan. Stir until the tomato concentrate has dissolved.

Let simmer

Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and simmer over low heat until the sauce has thickened.
