Description

This seafood salpicón is a recipe that I often prepare in summer. It is super refreshing and light, perfect as a starter or appetizer in a meal or dinner with friends. The combination of octopus, prawns and crab sticks, along with the crunchy touch of peppers and onion, makes it irresistible. In addition, the homemade vinaigrette with paprika gives it a very special flavor. It is prepared in the blink of an eye with the Thermomix®, and it always triumphs! Ideal for those looking for a healthy and uncomplicated option.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece cooked octopus leg
  • 6 piece cooked prawns
  • 3 piece crab sticks
  • 1 trozo red pepper
  • 1 trozo green pepper
  • 1 trozo spring onion
  • 1 chorro olive oil
  • 3 cucharadas soperas vinegar
  • 1 cucharada postre sweet or spicy paprika
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting

Introduce 1 piece of red pepper, 1 piece of green pepper and 1 piece of spring onion into the Thermomix bowl. Program 3 seconds/speed 5 to chop the vegetables into very small pieces.

Prepare the seafood

Cut 1 cooked octopus leg and 3 crab sticks into small pieces. Peel 6 cooked prawns and cut them in half or leave them whole, according to preference. Reserve all ingredients.

Prepare the vinaigrette

In a separate bowl, mix 1 splash of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 dessert spoon of sweet or spicy paprika. Mix well with a spoon until emulsified.

Mix and serve

In a serving dish, place the octopus, crab sticks, prawns and chopped vegetables. Add a pinch of salt to the salpicón and drizzle with the vinaigrette. Mix gently so that all the ingredients are well impregnated. Serve very cold.
