Description

This Gnocchi Tomato Mozzarella Casserole is an absolute favorite dish when you need something quick! The combination of juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and soft gnocchi is simply unbeatable. The grated hard cheese provides a spicy crust. I especially like to make it in the summer when the tomatoes are nice and aromatic. It is super easy to prepare and tastes great to the whole family. If you like, you can sprinkle fresh basil over it. A great vegetarian dish that also works well as a side dish.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 400 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 40 g Parmesan or vegetarian hard cheese (piece)
  • 400 g Whipping cream
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 Packungen Mini mozzarella (à 150 g)
  • 2 Packungen Gnocchi (à 400 g)
  • Basil

Preparation (7 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat (175°C circulating air).

Chop parmesan

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Place 40 g hard cheese in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./speed 8. Transfer.

Season cream

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add 400 g whipping cream, salt and pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Prepare casserole

Place 400 g halved cherry tomatoes, 2 packs of mini mozzarella and 2 packs of gnocchi in a greased casserole dish and mix.

Add cream and cheese

Pour the hot cream over the gnocchi mixture and sprinkle with the chopped hard cheese.

Bake casserole

Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Add basil

Wash the fresh basil, shake dry, pluck the leaves and sprinkle over the finished casserole.
