Description

This hearty potato salad with Vienna sausages is a classic that always tastes good! I've been making it since I was a kid, and it's perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed barbecue. The potatoes cook wonderfully in the Thermomix®, and the maple syrup gives the dressing a special touch. The salad can be prepared well in advance and still tastes delicious the next day. An absolute must for all potato salad lovers!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

1.5 kg waxy potatoes
3 tsp Salt
250 g Onions
100 ml Olive oil
80 ml White wine vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Maple syrup
0.5 Bd. white pepper from the mill
4 piece Vienna sausages

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Wash 1.5 kg waxy potatoes and place in the steamer basket. Add 2 l water and 1.5 tsp salt to the mixing bowl, insert the steamer basket and cook for 30 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Peel, halve and place 250 g onions in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Prepare dressing
