Description

This Thermomix® recipe for Tschebureki is a hearty snack or finger food with ground meat, onions and a dough made from milk, egg and flour. Preparation takes about 75 minutes and yields 15 servings. Ideal for parties or as a savory main course. The recipe is inexpensive and suitable for anyone who likes it meaty. The working time is approx. 45 minutes.

  • 160 g Milk
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Baking powder
  • 320 g Flour
  • 3 Stück Onions
  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Heat milk

Add 160 ml milk to the mixing bowl and heat for 2 min./37°C/speed 1.

Prepare dough

3 min/Kneading speed

Add 1 egg, 1 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp baking powder and 320g flour and knead for 3 min./kneading setting to form a dough.

Let the dough rest

Place the finished dough in a floured bowl, cover and let rest for 30 minutes.

Chop onions

Thermomix® Setting

Put 3 onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 seconds/speed 6. Scrape everything down from the edge of the mixing bowl and repeat the process.

Prepare filling

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Kneading speed

Add 500g ground meat, salt and pepper and mix for 1 min./kneading setting.

Shape dough

On a floured work surface, shape the dough into a long sausage and cut off 15 small balls from it.

Fill tschebureki

Roll out each ball, place a tablespoon of filling on one half and press down lightly. Place the other half over the filling and press the edge firmly with a fork.

Fry tschebureki

Heat plenty of oil in a pan and fry the tschebureki on both sides over medium heat until golden brown.

Let drain

Place the fried tschebureki on a kitchen paper towel so that the oil can be absorbed a little.
