Description

A simple but flavorful first course, perfect for a quick dinner or casual lunch. Spaghetti with garlic and anchovies with crispy breadcrumbs are a classic of Italian cuisine, revisited with a touch of crunch that makes them irresistible. The aroma of garlic, the flavor of anchovies and the crunchiness of the breadcrumbs create a harmony of flavors that will win everyone over. I often prepare them when I have little time but don't want to give up a tasty and satisfying dish. Ideal for those who love strong flavors and Mediterranean cuisine. Ready in less than half an hour!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 320 g Spaghetti
  • 50 g Anchovies in oil
  • 80 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Salted capers
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 20 g Parsley
  • 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation of crispy breadcrumbs

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 2 120

Pour 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into the bowl. Add 80g of breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 2, mixing with the spatula to brown evenly. Transfer the breadcrumbs to a bowl and set aside.

Cooking the spaghetti

12 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Fill the bowl with 1 liter of salted water. Bring to a boil: 12 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Add 320g of spaghetti through the hole in the lid and cook for the time indicated on the package, without the measuring cup.

Preparation of the sauce

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Meanwhile, without emptying the bowl, add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1 clove of minced garlic. Cook for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding capers and anchovies

2 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add 2 tablespoons of desalted capers and 50g of drained anchovies in oil to the bowl. Cook for 2 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1, until the anchovies have dissolved.

Completion of the sauce

10 sec/Speed 2

Add 20g of chopped parsley to the bowl and mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 2.

Season the spaghetti

30 sec/Linkslauf Speed 1 Reverse

Drain the spaghetti and pour them into the bowl with the sauce. Mix gently for 30 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Plate and serve

Plate the spaghetti and sprinkle with the crispy breadcrumbs. Serve immediately.
